At one time the CDM-600 was the top of the line SCPC 70 MHz modem from Comtech EFData, and although time has passed these modems by, if anybody is looking for a very powerful and very flexible earth station or VSAT terminal modem, the CDM600 should be considered, particularly because the prices have fallen considerably making them a very attractive purchase.

Each modem can have different options installed and so the first task of the buyer is to confirm which features are needed and then to ensure that the modem has those features installed.
