Product Details

This is a brand new inverter that was purchased as a spare at one of the teleports before we acquired it. The inverters are housed in the outside control box next to the antenna, normally there are two, one to control the azimuth motor and the other to control the elevation motor.

The Sumitomo inverter receives the control signal to move the antenna, and precisely converts that control signal into AC input to the relevent motor, Sumitomo claim accuracy as close as one RPM motor control.
